Terms of Service
Version 1.2 · Effective 6 October 2026 (previous versions 1.1, 4 October 2026; 1.0, 20 September 2026) · Hyrelix Ventures, Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra 411028, India
Draft pending legal review. These terms describe how the service actually operates today. They have not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and items marked [TO CONFIRM] need commercial or legal decisions we have not yet made. Do not rely on this document as legal advice.
1. Agreement to these terms
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Hyrelix Ventures ("Hyrelix", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
2. What Hyrelix provides
Hyrelix is an interview-as-a-service platform. We connect organisations hiring for technical roles with vetted interview panellists, host the interview, and deliver a structured scorecard and report.
We do not guarantee hiring outcomes. We provide assessment; the decision to hire, reject or progress a candidate rests entirely with the client organisation. We are not an employment agency and do not act as your employer or recruiter.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
- Two-factor authentication is mandatory. You are responsible for keeping your authenticator and recovery access secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@hyrelix.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One person, one account. Do not share credentials or let another person conduct an interview in your place.
4. Rules for each type of user
Candidates
- The work you present must be your own. Impersonation, undisclosed assistance or third-party help during an interview is grounds for termination and disclosure to the client.
- Your camera must remain on throughout the interview.
- Interviewer identity is deliberately masked. Do not attempt to identify or contact your interviewer.
Interview panellists
- You must accurately represent your professional experience. We verify professional profiles before activating an account.
- You act as an independent contractor, not an employee of Hyrelix. You are responsible for your own taxes.
- You must keep candidate information and client material confidential, and use it only to conduct the interview and produce the report.
- You must declare any conflict of interest — for example, a prior relationship with the candidate — and decline the interview.
- Assessments must be based on demonstrated skill. Scoring influenced by a candidate's demographic characteristics is prohibited and is grounds for immediate removal.
Client organisations
- You confirm you have a lawful basis to have candidates assessed, and that candidates know they are being interviewed through Hyrelix.
- You must not use reports for any purpose other than your own hiring decision, or share them outside your organisation without consent.
- You must not attempt to identify, solicit or directly engage panellists outside the platform. [TO CONFIRM — non-circumvention period and any fee]
- An AI report is never the sole basis for a decision; a human scorecard accompanies it and must be considered.
5. Recording policy
- Interviews are recorded. Consent is requested from each participant immediately before the interview, separately from account signup.
- Recordings exist so a disputed assessment can be reviewed. They are retained for 24 hours and then deleted.
- Access during that window is limited to the participants' dispute process and authorised Hyrelix staff acting on a raised dispute.
- Participants must not make their own recording, screen capture or transcript of an interview.
- If you decline recording, we will explain the consequences before the interview begins. An interview may not be able to proceed without it.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or the administrative portal.
- Probe, scan or test the security of the service except under our published security policy at /.well-known/security.txt.
- Scrape, harvest or bulk-export data, including panellist or candidate profiles.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or infringing.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Interfere with the service's operation or place unreasonable load on it.
7. Fees, payment and panellist payouts
- Interview pricing is shown on the platform before you commit. Prices are in Indian Rupees or US Dollars as displayed, and exclude taxes unless stated.
- Applicable taxes, including Indian GST where relevant, are added at checkout. [TO CONFIRM — GST registration status and treatment of export of services]
- Payment is taken at booking through our payment gateway. We do not store card details.
- Panellists receive 70% of the interview fee. This share is a commitment and will not be reduced without notice to affected panellists.
- Payouts are made once a month. Each completed interview becomes payable 7 days after its report is submitted, so that a refund or dispute can be settled first. On the 5th of each month we prepare one statement per panellist for everything that became payable in the previous month and pay it as a single transfer. Balances under ₹500 roll over to the next month. Each statement and payment reference is shown on your dashboard.
- Panellists must complete identity and tax verification (KYC) before the first payout.
8. Cancellations, reschedules and refunds
[TO CONFIRM — the timings and percentages below are proposed defaults, not yet commercially agreed.]
| Situation | Outcome |
| Client cancels more than 24 hours before the scheduled start | Full refund |
| Client cancels within 24 hours | Partial refund; a cancellation fee is retained to compensate the reserved panellist |
| Client moves a confirmed interview more than 24 hours before the start | Free, any number of times |
| Client moves a confirmed interview within 24 hours of the start | The first such change is free; each further change within 24 hours incurs a late-change fee |
| Candidate needs a different time | The candidate requests a new time from their dashboard with a reason and up to three suitable times; the client decides. The existing booking stands until it is moved |
| Panellist withdraws before the interview | We assign another panellist at no cost to the client |
| Candidate does not attend | No refund; the panellist is paid for reserved time |
| Panellist does not attend | Full refund or free reschedule, at the client's choice |
| Interview fails due to a Hyrelix technical fault | Full refund or free reschedule |
| Interview fails due to a participant's own connectivity or equipment | Reschedule offered; refund at our discretion |
| Report quality dispute upheld | Re-interview with a different panellist, or refund — see section 10 |
An interview that has not yet been confirmed by a panellist can be moved or cancelled free of charge. A no-show can be reported from 10 minutes after the scheduled start and is checked against our own record of who joined the interview room; it cannot be recorded against someone who joined. Until online payment is live, fees under this section are recorded against the booking and settled when billing begins.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. [TO CONFIRM — expected processing time]
9. Intellectual property
- The platform, its software, brand and content belong to Hyrelix. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service, nothing more.
- Interview questions and the question bank are our confidential property. Do not reproduce, publish or share them.
- Code written by a candidate in the coding pad remains the candidate's own work. The client receives it solely to evaluate that candidate.
- Scorecards and reports are produced for the commissioning client, who may use them for their hiring decision.
- We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the service. This never identifies an individual.
10. Assessment disputes
If you believe an assessment was unfair or incorrect:
- Raise it within [TO CONFIRM — proposed 7 days] of receiving the outcome, via support@hyrelix.com.
- We review the scorecard, the AI report and, if still within the 24-hour window, the recording.
- Where a dispute is upheld we offer a re-interview with a different panellist, or a refund.
- You may always request human review of any automated assessment. An AI report alone never determines an outcome.
11. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, and will give notice where practical. [TO CONFIRM — whether a contractual uptime commitment is offered to clients]
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [TO CONFIRM — proposed 3 months] preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Suspension and termination
- You may close your account at any time. Deletion follows the process in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, fraud, or conduct that endangers other users — with notice where practical, and immediately where the risk requires it.
- On termination, outstanding panellist payouts for completed interviews remain payable, and obligations of confidentiality survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
[TO CONFIRM — whether arbitration is preferred, and how consumer disputes under India's Consumer Protection Act are handled]
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to you, and the version number and effective date above will change. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
